Chopin Residue at Fridman Gallery (NYC) is an innovative multimedia exhibition by Mariusz Szypura. The exhibition reimagines the legacy of Fryderyk Chopin through modern interpretations that blend classical elements with contemporary music and visual trends. The project unites artists from diverse countries, including Poland, the USA, Germany, Japan, the UK, and Iceland, creating a unique platform for cross-cultural collaboration and expanding artistic dialogue between Poland and the world. This groundbreaking event features distinguished guests such as Adrian Utley (Portishead), Lee Ranaldo (Sonic Youth), Joey Waronker (Beck, Atoms For Peace), Masayoshi Fujita, Sean O'Hagan (High Llamas), John Stanier (Helmet, Battles) and others, whose contributions deepen the exhibition's dynamic fusion of genres and perspectives.
