Chopin Residue — Simultaneous Experience

A double album reimagining Chopin's preludes through 25 collaborators

Chopin Residue — Simultaneous Experience

Chopin Residue is a double album that strips the piano from Fryderyk Chopin's preludes and reconstructs what remains — tonal fragments, harmonic residue, latent emotional tension — into new compositions by 25 artists from experimental electronics, ambient, post-jazz, and contemporary classical.

The album is designed for simultaneous experience: both discs are intended to play at the same time, on two turntables or two devices, creating layered spatial and temporal environments that echo the installation-style of the project.

Released as catalog BE 012 on The Black Element Label. Available on 2LP, 2CD, 2MC, and a limited-edition 3LP. Stream and buy on Bandcamp.
