Redefining is the Polish Pavilion at the Malta Biennale 2026, awarded the Maltese Falcon.
The sound installation by Mariusz Szypura explores Polish–Ghanaian textile narratives through immersive audio composition. Acoustic materials gathered across both regions are layered into a space-specific environment that responds to the gallery's architecture.
The pavilion was produced under the patronage of the Polish Ministry of Culture and National Heritage (MKiDN) and the Adam Mickiewicz Institute (IAM).
